Interviews, work that ran in print, and a photo credit somebody else gave me. If you're trying to figure out whether we can actually do this, start here.

Five long-form interviews across three publications. I get credited as Gabe Herrera on some and Gabe Rene on others, which is exactly why half of these are a pain to find.

Going full-time. The print counter at OfficeMax, almost seven years as senior designer and creative director at HCTC, and building this the whole time on the side.

The earliest one, and the most honest about the beginning. Disposable cameras at YMCA summer camp, rolls of film that were mostly garbage, and shooting friends' bands.
In print
Altstadt Brewery, 2020. Four full-page ads that ran in Texas Monthly. I designed them and I shot them, and that combination is the whole argument for this studio. One place that can concept it, shoot it, and lay it out, instead of three vendors pointing at each other.

Prost
Cheers to our Frontline.
A thank-you to healthcare workers, first responders, grocery store workers, and delivery drivers, run at the point in 2020 when that still needed saying out loud.

Fünfzehn
3 friends. 6 feet. 15 Altstadt beers.
The launch ad for the Fünfzehn 15 pack. Six feet apart, sold as a float trip, because that is the only way that message was ever going to land in Texas.

Überlieferung
An Altstadt Tradition.
The Oktoberfest seasonal. Bottles, soft pretzels, stone-ground mustard, and an alpine hat, shot as a still life.

Erntedankfest
From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving.
The Thanksgiving placement. A Kolsch six-pack staged outdoors against a Hill Country sunset.
